What is the attestation of Nikah Nama by the UAE Embassy and how does it work?
The attestation of Nikah Nama essentially provides proof to the UAE authorities that the marriage was registered by a certified registrar and there are no issues with the document. Nikah Nama attestation is routinely requested by immigration authorities in the UAE or family courts during the sponsor visa application process for the family sponsor.

Step 1: Verification
Nikah Nama will be referred to confirm that the Nikah Registrar's stamp and names of both spouses are present with proper IDs and passports.
Step 2: MOFA Attestation
Nikah Nama is presented for stamping at Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Pakistan so that it can confirm that the document is original.
Step 3: UAE Embassy Attestation
The UAE Embassy will attest the marriage certificate thereafter, which will allow its owner to use it anywhere in the UAE for visa sponsorship and registration.
